*Can the $200 yearly Airline credit apply to paying $50 for a partner pass into a lounge?* (assuming I lock the credit to Delta or AA?)

Every single person that talks about the savor one excludes that it doesn’t earn 3% on waltmart target sams etc.. but it just depends what you have around to do your groceries

AMEX doesn’t care, they denied me sign on bonus for Delta platinum but were still happy to take my annual fee. Dumbed them and will never go back. Citi and Chase are so much better anyway.

Recently started following your content and you’re super knowledgeable on credit cards. I travel at least once a month to see my daughter in NY. Over the years I’ve only used my NavyFed platinum card. I’ve used this card for the past 5yrs and I have no points/miles whatsoever. I seriously need to get a better card/cards. I’m not loyal to any airline or hotel. Any suggestions?

Another one to add to this great list is the Navy Federal "More Rewards" by Amex. Unlimited 3x cashback on Restaurants/Grocery/Gas/Transit. No Annual Fee.

When approved, would the account show up separately from personal account? Am I be able to combine personal & business account together & combine MR points? 🙏

My collection of cash rewards credit cards isn't limited to Visa. Some are membership cards which means the organization decides which card processor is used. Ultimately this Visa scheme will do nothing for me. I can imagine that other pay services could span the gap and be a solution. Perhaps something like Apple or Google Pay could accept a collection of cards and based on user selected rules route transactions to account with the greatest cash back discount. I do that manually now, so that would be helpful.

I have 6 but really only use 4. If you want to maximize cash back you’re gonna need at least 3.

I am against these special privileges. These are great if you're wealthy or your business is paying for these exorbitant fees, but what about the average traveler or the grandmother that travels once or twice a year? My wife was traveling to see our daughter and was standing in line and almost missed her flight because so many people using this clear method were being put in front of her. It seemed like the amount of people that were going before her was never going to end. We are starting to turn into a class society. The haves and the have nots. Airline travel should be equal. There's no reason why a business person should not have to take off their shoes and put their laptop through the machine and all of that like I have to. Who's to say that a business person with a TSA PreCheck and a clear does not become a terrorist later and decides to put a bomb in his shoe or his laptop. We're just allowing these people to go right to the Head of the class on to the airplane with no security checks. I'm not even sure they even go through the metal detector. He/she could be carrying a gun for all we know. If you feel as strongly about this as I do, I suggest you contact your senators and congressmen and stop clear. It's bad enough the psap pre-check as well no longer requires that those in that line have to take off their shoes and put everything have belts and laptops cell phones through a machine and then walk through a metal detector. TSA PreCheck should just have a shorter line but require everything else that regular TSA line has.

Choice Hotels on AmEx only transfers 1:1, while Citi and Wells transfer at 1:2. Choice Hotels can make sense at 1:2. Marriott being 1:1 is pretty bad too. Hilton is basically the only hotel transfer that can make sense in my opinion.

Reading a lot about the Citi travel portal being more expensive than other portals, averaging about 10% higher. Maybe that's why they give you 10X? Not too surprised Citi would be sneaky like this.

Am I able to pay my card balance right after I make a purchase on the card so I don’t have to hold a balance all month on it?

I accidentally authorized myself on the Amex Blue Cash Preferred Card. Then I canceled the card didn't want to have 2 card. Then a few days later Amex waived the yearly fee for Authorized users. I'm not sure if they are still doing that.

Verizon just did a refresher on this card happening around August or October 2024. Just got an email regarding new multipliers refresher categories . I think its going to give Amex Gold a run for its money if you're a Verizon PostPaid Customer it's a no brainer.

I bank with Chase and have plenty of money in my account. Wich is the best Chase biz card to get and does it affect my personal credit score if I apply for a biz card?....I already have 3 biz cards by Amex without having a biz. My credit score is 815.

My AMEX Gold Card AF posts next month on July 11th. Can I attempt to get the retention offer before it posts? I spent $5k on this card last year, but I don't live in an area that I can use the Uber or Grubhub credits. I assume they will give me an offer, but I am really considering closing and opening a $0AF card to park my MR points on. I just value CO and UR points higher than Amex points and tend to focus my spending on other cards personally. I hope I get a good one since the Gold card has a bit of a cool factor.

In terms of Mastercard world elite, they may not list them but still have them. Bilt Mastercard doesn’t advertise the peacock credit but it is active on the card

Oh wow. This card is no longer a Visa card and we are losing2 free lounge visits on this card as of December 31st this year 2024 … I wish it went back to the visa network

My credit dropped by 10 points for having 22 percent utilization. I think it needs to be under 20 percent.
